Shah Satnam Ji Green-S Welfare Force

Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing is a welfare agency of Dera Sacha Sauda. With the aim of dedicated selfless service to humanity in distress, Guru Ji ( Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan ) founded this specialised disaster relief and welfare agency. Especially in the aftermath of the Orissa cyclone and Gujarat earthquake, the need for such an agency was acutely felt, so an organisation with suitably trained manpower to handle such exigencies was founded in 2001. This organisation of volunteers was mooted to help during disasters and large scale humanitarian projects.
Numbering more than 63,000, the agency involves experienced doctors, qualified engineers, trained rescuers, paramedics, electricians, masons, reconstruction workers, and people of various trades required in humanitarian aid missions.
This society also creates records in social welfare works. On 8 August 2010 the Wing members donated 43,732 blood units in a day and broke the previous Guinness record of donation 18,700 blood units in a day. On 15 August 2009 Wing volunteers took a step to prevent global warming by planting more than 67 million trees. In 2011 the society is aiding flood relief with a camp at Leh (Jammu & Kashmir). Since its inception, among major relief operations performed by Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing, are to provide relief to flood ravaged Bihar,〔(Relief to Flood Ravaged Bihar | Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕 sending a special goods train to Orrisa during a cyclone.〔(A Special Goods Train to Orissa | Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕 When an earthquake hit Gujrat in December 2000, a scientific survey and a systematic aid operation followed. In 42 villages, ration depots were set up; thousands of tents were erected, and over 100,000 blankets distributed.
Agency volunteers reconstructed the village of Pratapgarh,〔(Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕 helped in drought affected Rajasthan,〔(Help of Rajastan's Drought Affected | Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕 and helped during Tsunami waves in Tamil Nadu and Andeman Nicobar Daweep Samooh 〔(Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕〔(Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force )〕〔(Dera Sacha Sauda )〕
